I compiled a list on what I personally think is essential for college. Here's the pdf form I attached below if you'd like to see visually:

Basic School Supply List for Middle School!
Hey guys! I know I have a vast group of middle schoolers who watch my videos. So I wanted to create a list that could help you whenever you go school supply shopping. Attached is a document I made, listing most of the school supplies that middle school requires. You could scroll down and zoom in.

Brand New Channel!
I already made a short, descriptive video about this new collaboration I am going to be a part of. Words cannot describe how excited I am to take on this new project. I was asked by the awesome YouTuber DearBemo if I would be interested in contributing some tips for an upcoming video she had in mind. And after conversing with the other four contributors, the idea to create an entirely new channel erupted. I've never participated in a collab before, so I don't know what to fully expect. But I do know for a fact that this collab channel will be a success. Mind you, I am not trying to exaggerate anything I say, but these young ladies make tasks easy to accomplish. And you might ask why? Well, we all have school labeled as an important aspect of our lives. There's tons of reasons out there that allow individuals to despise collab channels. Not to mention that most of them are disorganized. Being organized as we are, we know how to put our priorities first. For the most part, I wanted to create this blog post because I truly feel that I'm more capable of doing just videos. I feel rather useful! But here's the main point. People might infer that I was a wee bit "too excited" in my video pertaining to this matter. It's all because I am interacting with people my age. Not that I don't mind my younger viewers, but I feel a sense of freedom and a new beginning. When I first created DearFeatheredOwl, I wanted to somehow make my focus on my journey entering college and reflecting on high school. But as time flew by, things did not turn out as I expected it to. Along with it, I was bombarded with so much hatred and criticism for reasons that are beyond me! So yes, I feel as this collab would be my outlet from all of the negativity I get from my channel. It seems to be that way every time the back to school season comes around. Anywho, enough about that. Once again, I hope you guys could check us out and you could subscribe if you'd like.

I could remember it like it was yesterday......
A past event I would like to put into the spotlight is a day I will cherish! I didn't manage to get enough footage, but I FINALLY met up with Aubrey Jay (YouCanDoIt2010). She is spectacular and I was relieved when I got to hang out with her. I say that because we were actually planning various dates, but it sort of fell apart. Sometimes our schedules/plans conflicted with each others. And that is what nearly happened. My family was planning a remembrance ceremony and the day she wanted to meet up, I had to sadly decline. But then, with a hint of luck, the ceremony was rescheduled for a later date so that my peeps had enough time to make it in town. But yes! It was so last minute and I enjoyed every moment. I have to admit, I'm not an outgoing person. So I like to tell people I am "fun-challenged!" Although, I might of seemed awkward and anti-social, it was great to interact with someone I've had a virtual connection with. We headed to one of my city's higher end malls. Not to mention, people here have to go to stores to enjoy themselves! There is no appealing entertainment in site. After a while, you get jaded from the same old repetitive adventures. But once you go with a different person, it's seems like an entirely new experience. Moving along, we first walked into JC Penny as we jumped off a conversation. After that, heck I don't even remember! I believe we went into Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Claires, Xpress, Bath and Body Works, Hot Topic and TARGET! Yes, our mall had a Target attached to it and we seen this as a great vlogging opportunity. Both of us had one thing in mind---SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Oh yes, we power walked our hiney's to the back to school section. But this isn't a lost cause. I know Aubrey has some footage. She'll upload it on her own terms. It was hilarious and sort of difficult to record. As Aubrey searched for good deals on school supplies, I only managed to get a pack of Sharpie Highlighters.
Lunch time followed directly after. Oh boy was I craving some sort of natural fruit drink. As we went to the food court, we each chosen where we wanted to order from. Across from Chick-fil-a was a little section that was called "Fuji Teahouse" and I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Let me reassure you, my fascination with the Asian culture grew stronger. Mmmmmm, I just cannot resist boba tea with tapioca! I ordered a honey dew milk tea with extra boba and coconut chunks. They also had sushi and some appetizers, but they incorporated meat and seafood (not good for a vegetarian). I could infer that this eatery did not make as much business as the other neighboring stations, so I was bought over by a humble smile and their hospitality! I asked if they served fresh spring rolls and they did. They told me it was not a problem to specially make them for me according to my preferences. My main meal was a black bean patty foot long sub from Subway. Here's where the funny part approaches. Aubrey was sitting and waiting patiently until I gotten my food, then without realizing what end of the straw I was using, I put the un-sharpened tip to the boba drink I had. Since I forcefully put pressure on it because it seemed like it wouldn't slip through, it sort of EXPLODED! Hahahhaa! I couldn't help, but to laugh. I tell you, I am clumsy sometimes. It was a mess! I had to clean it up with a lot of paper napkins. Anyways, I tried to overlook that little mishap ;-) Aubrey was a great sport and tried a spring roll for the first time. But I don't plain her for disliking it. With the peanut sauce, it is decadent!
After lunch, we wondered around and left the mall. Aubrey took me to another mall and we had so much talks there! :D We went to Dylan's Candy Bar and oh my! I'm glad I really don't have a sweet tooth because I would have tons of cavities. But I loved the scenery and the atmosphere. I had in the past tasted their Belgium chocolate and they were divine! After that, we probably went to Borders. It was heartbreaking to know that they liquidated their whole chain of stores because they're closing down all of their businesses. Borders had these banners stating that their items were ten to thirty percent off---a deal you cannot overlook! Sigh, I used to use Borders as my hot spot. Booo, I don't have a Barnes and Nobles that is close to me >:-/
Anywho, we went to Claires and I was so hesitant to buying this tribal/Aztec patterned boho bag. But thinking it over, it looked unique and I decided to give it a go (despite it being overpriced). Haha, we seen some guy playing Xbox Kinect and his dance moves were drawing a crowd.
Sigh, all good things have to come to an end. If I were to tell you how much I was sweating, you guys might think I'm exaggerating. But nonetheless, I had a marvelous time with her and I appreciate her friendship so much. She is so AWESOME! :)

New tweaks and features will be in effect soon!

I've been slacking off my duties as far as my channel goes, but I decided I wanted to revamp all of my personal sites. The tumblr I created for my channel went to waste, so I thought things over and it would be best for me to maintain my blogspot more often. I have so many keen features that would better suit you! I will actually spend time posting my master calendar that you could see visually. That way, you could see more or less what videos to expect on certain dates. Thinking of you guys first, it seemed that it would be more convenient. Also, I'm currently working on a project that is very EXCITING to me and I will fill you guys in with more details once the time approaches.
Wow, you guys! I seriously do not know where all of these subscribers are coming from. It's bittersweet to say the most. I appreciate all of my LOYAL subbies and viewers! I will try to do something sweet for you guys within the next two months. Moving along, I need to get back on track! I have more videos to accomplish than I could manage. But no excuses, I shall be doing a group of videos and just upload them on different days. Thank you to all who have stuck around. I love you guys! I will update this soon whenever I post a new video.
Take care,

The rebirth of DearFeatheredOwl
I recently posted a short info video titled: "New Year, New Approach, New System". I've taken a great deal of time off from YouTube and it's not fair for my subscribers to be left hanging. Well, I finally got a brand new tripod and I am hoping to film at least 3-5 videos tomorrow (2-24-11). I'm so excited, hence the immense hate I've been getting for no apparent reason. It's okay though, I have something up my sleeve to address that issue. To be completely honest, it has taken the fun out of YouTube for me. I don't enjoy my channel like I once did before. But I miss you guys enough, so I am eager to post some new and actual videos. I will catch up with you guys later.
Take care,
